Feel free to explore the Commentary, Articles, Collecting, Fan Art and Fan Fiction sections. I hope you like what you see here, and if you do, please contact me for feedback.

For functional and authentic Jedi attire and equipment at rockbottom prices, go to Galaxy Outfitters. There's a spacer there by the name of Brily who specializes in custom made lightsaber hilts (you pick the parts and design, he picks the glue). He also makes pouches for your belts and has recently forayed into custom tailoring of Jedi robes and cloaks. Check out these pictures of the lightsaber he put together for me!

The final installment in the Star Wars film saga arrived on DVD on November 1,
2005. Ladies and gentlemen, start your marathons! The presentation, in my view,
is excellent. The bonus disc was enjoyable as well, however I felt that the
feature Within A Minute went on a little too long and some of the featurettes
overlapped. Very interesting though, and worth the watch at least once around.
In Memoriam
In the last several months, the Star Wars family said goodbye to three of its alumni, accomplished actors Phil Brown, William Hootkins and Michael Sheard. I would just like to acknowledge these gentlemen and their contributions, however brief, to the Star Wars film series.

Phil Brown 1917-2006
A thirty-year veteran of stage and screen, this actor's most notable role was Owen Lars (aka Uncle Owen) in the first installment of the Star Wars saga, A New Hope. Brown died of pneumonia Thursday, February 9, 2006 at the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital in Woodland Hills, California at the age of 89.

William (Bill) Hootkins 1948-2005
On Sunday, October 23, 2005, William (Bill) Hootkins passed away in Santa Monica, California at the age of 58. He had been critically ill for some time, having been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier in the year. Bill played Jek Porkins (Red 6) in Episode IV, and since then had an illustrious acting career both on screen and on stage. His film credits include Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981) and Batman (1989). His last project was the London stage production Hitchcock Blonde. Bill has worked with such Hollywood luminaries as Tommy Lee Jones, John Lithgow, and John Malkowich.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bill in the autograph area at Star Wars Celebration 2 in Indianapolis three years ago. He had obviously been signing for quite a while, but to his credit, had not yet lost his sense of humour, taking my carded action figure and rubbing it on his chest while doing some heavy breathing before signing it. I thought later, "Hey, I've got his DNA! I wonder what that's worth on the collectors' market". In light of his passing, the thought of selling him now seems to be in rather bad taste.

Michael Sheard 1940-2005
Michael Sheard played the pompous but pitiful Admiral Ozzel in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. I also had the pleasure of meeting this charming fellow at Star Wars Celebration 2 and will treasure the autographed picture I have of him. He signed the picture "Forcefully yours", which I thought was quite clever. Michael cut his teeth in the acting biz with the BBC television series Grange Hill as the stern headmaster Maurice Bronson. Besides his role in Star Wars, he was also cast as Adolf Hitler in several films, including Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade in 1989.
Commentaries
These commentaries were originally going to be movie reviews, but became something much more. The opinions expressed in the commentaries are mine, and mine alone. They judge each Star Wars film on its own merits and its connection to the series as a whole, something that the large majority of critics have never seen fit to do. To read a commentary, click on the corresponding thumbnailed movie poster, and take your first step into a much larger world.
Episode II: Attack Of The Clones
Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith
Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi
